Happened twice so far in last week or so. (today is 6/14/23) Appears to be out of the blue, but one time I happened to be on a Google Meet video call and the second time on a Whatsapp Desktop voice call....
Simultaneous 928-Fatal PCIe error. Slot 2. Completion Timeout
and 929-Fatal MCA error. MLC error detected CPU 0. Internal timeout error - watchdog timer (3 strike)
Successful boot right after.
At the time: normal work, with plenty of Chrome windows and tabs open, as well as Slack, and whatsapp desktop app.
Drivers are all up to date. No recent software changes or installations. No physical movement of the PC (recently).
PC has the usual workstation dual cpu, its the xeon E5 - 2670's
OEM memory 8gb x 16 slots.
new GPU (several months) RTX 3080 (gpu resides in slot 2)
PC recently (1 month ago) cleaned/blown for dust, and larger components removed for dusting (PCU, fans, HD bays, GPU, but NOT RAM or CPU's) All securely reinstalled.
I'm not sure what the issue is or what is causing it. Those with wisdom and experience, please share of your great bounty!
