Since upgrading Z620 from dual E5-2630v2 to dual E5-2660v2 errors on boot

Hi,

I found some interesting linked problems.

My GPU which was defective and eventualy stopped working seems to give false alerts on the QPI links.

After swaping the broken K4000 with a GTX 760 ,  my Z620 won't show QPI errors ( 929 & 932 errors) .

now that's something i want to look into, i would not think that a pci-e card would affect the processors private data bus

QPI (Quick Path Interconnect) is what dual cpu's use to talk to each other and is also called the point-to-point processor interconnec a single cpu will use one QPI link, dual cpu's use two QPI links between the memory and processor(s)
