Hi..
recently when i start to boot up my computer it reaches to the part of ( HP sure start) and then suddenly i get message says ( please wait while we install a system update) but nothing happened and immediately it does another restart... then i noticed that in the device manager the firmware ( HP P60 system firmware 02.85) has exclamatory mark...
inside the bios system it shows that the current firmware is 02.82.
i read all of other posts and i tried every possible way even download the bios update but still same issue..
PLEASE . DON'T TELL ME TO UPDATE MY WINDOWS OR USE HP SUPPORT ASSISTANT. AS I TRIED THEM A HUNDRED OF TIMES BUT USELESS..
even last night i reset factory for my windows but also didn't help

hi
in device manager
uninstalled the present driver
I can't test, but if you have a checkbox to remove the driver completely check there
sometimes this solved the problem

yeah i already did that.. otherwise it will always keep restart two times every time i start my computer...
do you think it can be a hardware issue?? do you think i should send my PC HP Z6 to service as i still have more than one year guarantee?
inside device
manager it keep showing exclamation mark but inside bios when i start on bios setup it shows bios revision P60 v02.82 .. does that mean the bios update is already installed??

I don't have my eyes wide open, or memory problem?
I'm almost certain, to have read in your message, an error code, and I don't see it here anymore
and it seems to me that it corresponded to this
Full Error Message
“This device cannot work properly until you restart your computer. To restart your computer now, click Restart Computer. (Code 14)”
Recommended Resolution
Restart your computer. From Start, click Shut Down, and then select Restart
I can not certify that it is material
if you were originally on windows 10, it could just be a software problem
I have a little doubt, for the question of the bios
the version you have displayed in the bios is the current version of the bios
but what you have in device manager , , i never looked for it
For example, I have a "System Firmware" device, the only one that seems to correspond to what you are describing, but driver 10.0.22621.1 microsoft, with a firmware tab that indicates my bios version in place "firmware version" F220000
bios BIOS Version/Date AMI F.22, 2018-06-25
I offered you the only option that seemed to work, it seems to me, so I might not find better
so yes, I'm not going to waste your time, if you're under warranty, contact the after-sales service
Come back to me if there is a solution, I'm interested, or if you want me to try looking for something else!
[edit]
check this
different computer but compared to the problem it seems quite close to me
There may be a link with an update, bios, unsuccessful
but which is not available from the product page!?
but I do not know what is explained here, (Language problem)
Anyway, maybe don't insist if it's a bios problem, see with hp directly if you're still under warranty

Hi..
thank you so much for your interesting answer, but let me tell you what happened exactly...
today i decided to reset my computer to factory reset..
after that i checked my device management it was like this
then i checked windows update and i found this
i installed the new firmware 2.85 and then restarted my windows
and again when it reached to ( HP SURE START), for a less that a second it gave a message says ( please wait while we install update) and then again it restarted immediately...
when i logged into the windows again i checked device manger and it was like this
then i checked the current version which my bios already has and it was this
so now I'll just uninstall the current firmware
so now.. do you think the current firmware has problem or it is hardware from my computer..??
yes i still under warranty but taking my computer to service is very exhausting and besides i use it everyday for my job. So if i can solve this locally i won't have to take it anywhere.
and thanks for interesting.. i appreciate it

hi
this is what i wanted you to do, uninstall the driver complement, so there it worked..
I couldn't tell you, what's the matter
curiously it would be that, if I understand the message, it must be installed on restart, but obviously it does not work
For me, don't bother with this, your computer is working, I have the microsoft driver, and obviously there is no problem with it!
My best advice would be not to insist, see maybe a next update if there is..
sorry, for the wait time @Zuheyr

today i got new bios update which is 02.86, (the previous one was 02.85).. so, I thought let's try maybe they fixed something , but the bad news it is still same problem and now I'll uninstall it again and come back to an old bios update.
I think I'll take it to the service if the issue related to hardware.
thanks a lot @Prométhée, i really appreciate your responding ..
best regards

Hi.
i like to update my post which i think it can help the others.
today i could solve the problem thankfully.
my method was to install HP Image Assistant (HPIA)
this could find me all necessary updates that weren't installed before. and even in HP support assistant didn't show me ..
i installed all other updates except bios which i kept till i finish then restarted and after that i updated the bios and WOW.. it worked :D..
i hope that could help someone else.
have a good day.
