We're still using Windows 7 in our environment and have been rolling back our TPM 7.61 2.0 chips to TPM V 1.2 using softpaq SP78910
Our most recent units have been shipping with TPM V 7.62 and searching the support site doesn't reveal an updated softpaq with the new binary blobs for the 7.62 TPM chips.
Is there an updated Softpaq yet or some other way to get the TPM binary files so we can start using our small mountain of new hardware.
We're rolling back the TPM because our environment requires bitlocker on our machines. At this time our Windows 7 image requires TPM 1.2 inorder to encrypt the drive.

We are having the same issue. Got a new batch of HP 745 G4's in and started the Windows 10 setup so I can downgrade TPM's, only to find I have Cortana talking to me (which I HATE) and I cannot downgrade the TPM due to lack of firmware blob! What the hell HP! At least provide the firmware if you are going to ship these out to businesses who are REQUIRED BY LAW TO ENCRYPT THEIR DEVICES!
Is there ANY help forthcoming on this or should we contact IFX directly to see about getting firmware?

YES! Actually! Thank you for responding and reminding me to update this 🙂
I found SP81900 by googling, according to the page I located it on release date is "TBD" but this is an updated TPM Downgrade utility with ALL NEW FIRMWARE BLOBS! You have to download the entire thing, it doesn't seem to work with just the new blobs in the old executable.
Here is the link:

Scroll down to the model and you can download it from the FTP. Top of the page now says "Release date October 16, 2017" but I haven't seen ANY official announcement or other news about this.
ENJOY!
