I have a ticket open with HP for thepast 4 days, with radio silence and some incorrect feedback.

Has anyone done 802.1x authentication with machine auth on ThinPro thinclients? Prior posts suggest there is a kit HP needs to provide, but again radio silence from HP support.

I've got t530, t630 and I can use thinpro 6 but we prefer 7. Support claimed it will be avail in future release of 7.1 sp4 (which is already available)

Any help appreciated.

It turns out I was looking in the wrong direction. MachineAuth was not what I should have looked for, as EAP-TLS would have worked just fine, had I actually setup the NDES/SCEP server with the correct certificate. After promoting the cert, it worked fine. We used this below blog as a reference point:

I had a great session with a HP support technician on this.
