So I recently got several HP Z440 workstations, one which had a Thunderbolt 2 card the MS-4361 specifically, and it also had an AMD 590 RX gpu with displayport outputs. I dont know anything about Thunderbolt displays however. I was separately given an Apple Thunderbolt 27 inch display 2560x1440 resolution which I would like to use with this monitor (I tried to insert a link but the board doesnt seem to want me copy pasting it) which is normally used with Macintoshes, but I assumed a monitor is a monitor...
Are any special drivers or configuration needed for the Thunderbolt card to make this work? Is there any software configuration needed for the gpu? The only reason I havent just tested it myself is that I have to get a patch cable to hook the displayport to the thunderbolt card but I wasn't sure if I could even use the Apple monitor in the first place.
