HP ZBook 8 G1i 16 inch Mobile Workstation PC (B24H2AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

I have a problem with my new laptop ZBook 8 G1i 16 inch.

The touchpad doesn't work in Windows 11. I can click and tap but the pointer doesn't move most of the time. Sometimes I can make it move but it's gltchy

When I test the touchpad in the UEFI hardware diagnostics, it works perfectly. Which tells me that the problem is probably driver related.

I can't find an updated driver for the touchpad in Windows 11. When I run the HP Firmware updater, it looks like the "click pad controller" firmware fails because I receive the message : "Recovering Click Pad Controller Firmware" and when I execute the updater again, it still shows that the click pad needs to be updated.

I am up to date in my Windows Updates.
