Dear Sirs,

Contacting you as i would like to express my big disappointment on HP product and client care. Big companies do not handle cases like this. From my experience with large brands e.g Sony, BMW, although problems occur they did not handle it as HP (reputation affected).

         My story, bought an all in one pc of HP (24- f0008nv), approx 2 years back by an official seller in Athens, Greece. Seller is also authorized repair shop by HP. It is maybe the largest shop/chain in Greece.

        Last month my PC all of a sudden could not start.  After search internet and HP support, seen my problem was often (blank screen) and several remedies recommended. Unfortunately nothing worked and had to take the PC to the place i bought it for repair. Unfortunately i was advised the following!!! the motherboard has failed!!! and the spare cost was approx 600EURO (price higher than PC new....). They advised me to speak with HP Greece. Spoke and asked a generous discount in order to buy a new HP PC as computer totally failing in 2 years is unacceptable and spare costing over a new PC. HP Greece understood but refused on any solution. Based on such approach and the fact that appears HPs PCs fail and spare parts is not an option  i will never buy an HP again and also try to legally ask my rights asap.

first of all this is a USER TO USER forum, the people on this forum are normal users just like you as such we can do nothing warranty related

 

second this is the United States Region HP forum, and due to this even if a HP forum moderator sees this post there is not much that can be done other than to tell you to contact HP Greece and make them aware of your issue

 

third, did you buy your system NEW from HP (or a HP authorized reseller)or did you buy a refurbished/close out model system from a 3rd party reseller which has a different warranty in most cases

here in the USA the normal warranty period of a consumer computer bought from HP is 1 year unless you pay for a extended carepack warranty

Dear Sir,


I bought this from an HP authorized reseller. 


Unfortunately, HP site cannot find who/where to contact for my complain. 


Product is out of warranty yes. But 2 years of life of a PC....is harming HPs  reputation. Also the cost of approx 600EURO of a motherboard is this logical?

Why it is in FAQ, the problem of blank screens....?


Can you please send me link / email where to adress my complain?
