Is this instruction still valid with the latest Bios version for T520/T630/T730?

Hi,

It is sort of still valid, exception is that the exe file name has changed.

Example

Bios 1.09 on T630

Download the Zip file mentioned in your link

remove the exe and bin file, but keep the sys file

Then download the Bios 1.06 AND 1.09

Extract both to seperate locations

rename the M40_106_WinX64.exe Bios exe file to 109, copy it into the extracted 109 files folder

and then run this command after copying all 3 files (sys, exe and bin) to the T630

cmd/c c:\Temp\M40_0109_WinX64.exe M40_0109.bin /p /b /n /r /k

CAUTION  !!!!

Test this on 1 T630 before mass deployment

should it not work and the Thin Client is bricked, it will need to be sent in for repair

Seems the update method changed a bit and new bios catalog have provide a new solution

T520/T630/T730 can now be updated via UEFI toolless upgrade via EFI partition - this can be from external USB disk or thinclient internal SSD for UEFI bootable OS
