Yes..... you missed reading my post 6" up about how to update BIOS from within BIOS. There are multiple posts in this forum also especially advising against updating BIOS from within Windows 10. That does work from within Windows 7 but I never do that either now.
You may be able to salvage your workstation by reading the complex post here on the crisis recovery jumper.

The crisis recovery post details as best as we can document the method(s) to possibly recover your motherboard's BIOS, which is now corrupted. It is not easy and truly has been hit or miss. The one thing to know is that it is worth trying all the methods multiple times because otherwise your motherboard is "bricked". So, no more harm is possible by trying.
I have bricked one HP motherboard in my years of fine tuning these..... and that was from taking a shortcut from my only updating BIOS from within BIOS, and I ran the updater from the OS..... and the OS was W10 (before I knew). Luckily I did recover that Z420 workstation via the crisis recovery methods.
It is not a bad job to swap in a replacement used motherboard. Make sure to get a version 2 one if you do. That might become your only option, sorry to say.

Thank you.
I have been working on IT for 15 years, and believe me when I say, I tried everything "in the book".
Burned about CD´s with all the images from all BIOS versions....nothing 🙂
My last chance is to build a Bootable DOS Flash Drive and copy the DOS Flash files to root of it and try.
