Upgrade my elitedesk Graphics

Hi

I would like to boost the performance of my PC with a better graphic card.

But all the cards recommended in the service manual are no longer available:

Description Graphics cards (Service Manual elitedesk 800 G3):
Nvidia GeForce GT730 2 GB PCIe x8
Nvidia GeForce GT720 1 GB PCIe x8
AMD Radeon™ RX 480 2 GB FH PCIe x16
AMD Radeon RX 460 2 GB FH PCIe x16
AMD Radeon R7 450 4 GB FH PCIe x16 G5
Nvidia GTX 1080 8 GB FH PCIe x16

Any idea which card could fit as a alternative.

Important: My elitedesk has a power supply with 180W.

Hi:

As we discussed the other day, you can try the GT1030 and hope it works with a 180W power supply, or use the GT 710.

The list of supported cards you posted are only available as OEM cards from HP, and you would probably have to find one in used but tested and working condition on eBay.

For example the Nvidia GeForce GT730 2 GB PCIe x8  uses less wattage than the GT 730 you can buy commercially.

Below is the link to the HP quickspecs for the 800 G3 PC model series. 

Page 18 lists the supported graphics cards by form factor. 

The supported cards for the SFF are less than the whole list you posted.

If you want to buy the first one listed for example, the part number is N3R90AA

They are very expensive.

A commercial GT 730 draws 49 watts, which is way more than the newer GT 1030 draws.

I compared the 730gt to the integrated intel hd630. The performance is too bad for the money. So sad, I hoped to find a better one. Well...
