can I use DDR4 16 GB RDIMMs (from server) for memory upgrade on an Elitedesk 800 G3 SFF PC  small desktop PC ? Same voltage, same Speed as 4 GB ?

HP Recommended

You cannot use ECC registered memory in the 800 G3 model series.

 

Non-ECC unbuffered only.

 

See chapter 4, page 25 of the service manual:
