Hi,
I have just purchased a new Z2 SFF G4 workstation. I am currently trying to fit the additional hard drive that I have purchased but I discover that I cannot find a power supply cable and connector for this second hard drive, though the data connector appears to be there. My understanding was that this workstation is designed to accommodate additional hard drive(s).
I would be grateful for advice on how I might get power to this second hard drive e.g. do I need purchase extra connectors, or power supply cable splitter(s)?
Many thanks for your time and help.

check the HP service manual found under the DOCUMENTS section of your model system located under the HP drivers/support page of your model system and covers many aspects of your system
http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c06099780
as to adding a sec drive, if your system does support two 3.5 drives (not all SFF systems do) then you can simply use a high quality Sata power splitter to split the current sata power into two sat pwr connectors
do not use the no name generic cheap splitters that sell for 1.99 on ebay as most are not made to the same quality standards as name brands
