Prodesk 400 G5
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

We are having an issue installing 1809 x64 2019-03B for Windows 10. We install through WSUS and schedule the reboot during the night.

Its does not install and shows an error saying you need to fix the update before it can continue.

Manually clicking to fix the issue, runs a check and says there is a driver that can cause an issue win the the update. It claims it has disabled the driver. After accepting all of this the update applies and we have no issues. We can't find which driver it claims to have disabled and it does not tell which driver causes the issue! unfortunately it means we can't install automatically. The event viewer shows the error in the Windows System logs as Event ID 20  and  error 0x80070644. The Computers are HP Prodesk 400 G5

Hi I am not sure what you mean? if i knew which driver is was disabling, or claims to be disabling, i would possibly be able to find a work around. I did put in the question that we don't know what the driver is. I was just hoping someone else had seen this error. Unfortunately it appears HP or Microsoft have never seen the issue.

look at the windows setup/install log files

is this a clean win 10 install,  or a upgrade from what OS?

antivirus programs should always be uninstalled before a windows update
