Product: Z640

I am considering purchasing a Z640 workstation with two Intel Xeon E5-2690 V3 processors and installing Ubuntu 22.04.3 LTS. I also want to install one Nvidia Tesla P40, maybe two. I know about the cooling issue, but I want to know if this combination will work. I will use this to run a local LLMs, which will not be in a production environment, just a home lab.

 

Am I on a fool's errand, or will this work?
