The card itself is fine, but yes, you will need to swap the bracket out for the LP one.

That's great, if they don't have one I'll just keep this for another pc and buy another.

You sometimes can find those low profile backplane brackets used on eBay.

In other same-era HP SFF workstations HP often found a place to screw in spare isolation screws for later use, but it never was obvious.  The favorite hidden spot was behind the front plastic grill.  Take off the lid, and it usually is obvious what plastic tab to lift to release the grill.  Sometimes there is a security screw you need to remove first before you can release the grill.....

Thanks SDH but we covered that already

If the seller won't cancel your purchase or switch the bracket, I agree that you would be better off buying a second card with the right low profile bracket.

I could find any used or new low profile mounting brackets on Amazon or eBay that would fit that card for any less than buying a video card.

I also just dug through my spare parts closet, and the only s-video/DVI mounting brackets I have that fit your card, are the ones for the towers, or I would have been happy to mail you one for free.

Thanks again Paul for going out of your way to help.  It was all my fault and not a big loss really, but disappointing that I messed up.  I have another tower that can use the high profile one.

Glad you can use it in another PC, so it's not a total loss.

I have an ancient Radeon x300 with DVI and S-Video ports sitting in the closet, and I was hoping that had the low profile bracket on it, but it had the long one.

Fortunately, you will have no problems finding another one.

I think the one I had posted earlier on this discussion is still for sale.
