My HP Elitedesk 800 G3 i7 7700 has been an amazing machine. Upgraded to 64GB ram and it simply flies. I've attempted to upgrade to Windows 11 (due to the phase out of support for Windows 10 this coming November) but seem to have a CPU limitation here. Windows 11 supports 8 gen (and up) intel core processors. Machine is pretty solid and certainly has more longevity here. What are my options to upgrade to the new OS? Would like to avoid having to remap my entire network and get the system going again on a new computer. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Welcome to our HP Community forum!
Yes, if you are happy with your desktop, there are a number of ways to safely and easily upgrade a so-called "unsupported" PC to Windows 11, such as explained quite well in this YouTube instructional video. I know this works very well as I have used this 'conversion' method on one of my desktops recently: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lSrmhhigEhY&t=332s&ab_channel=Tips2Fix.
