Hi, I purchased 2nd hand HP 260 G2 Desktop Mini PC. it came with preinstalled Win 10 on the standard HDD. I decided to replace it with SSD. but I was too quick and wiped the HDD that was in the mini PC originally and haven't noticed there isn't any activation key on the Mini PC case like it was before. there is only some feature byte code and I can't find any installation media to be downloaded. I read the manual too, but it's not mentioned there either. what now? how do I get Win 10 back?

the HP quickspecs for the 260 G2 indicate that HP supports win 10 on this model
https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c05121551#AbT12
as such, you can download the HP cloud recovery tool which will allow you to download a customised windows 10 recovery image that includes all required drivers for a factory OS restore of windows 10
https://ftp.hp.com/pub/caps-softpaq/CloudRecovery/crsupportedplatform.html
click on cloud recovery link at the top left of the above link for the recovery tool, (sp144665) this tool can be run on a different system if necessary remember you need the recovery image which includes the drivers, not the driverless windows image
also have a 32gb or larger usb key on hand
