After installing the GeForce RTX5070 in the GPU, the system fan spins at high speed. When checking HP Performance Advisor, the temperature of GPU0 shows 128 degrees. The GPU usage screen indicates about 33 degrees.

Is there a way to reduce the system fan speed?

in this case it's possible that the Performance advisor app is misreporting the GPU temp because it does not know how to correctly read the new 5xxx series onboard temp sensor

try removing the advisor app and if this resolves the issue if wait for a update before reinstalling it

last do you mean the gpu usage is at 33% load rather than the  gpu temperature?

Did this work? I'm having the exact same problem. Thanks.

I have updated to BIOS version 3.04.05. The temperature of the RTX5070 is now recognized normally, and the fans are spinning at the usual speed.

Yeah, that worked. I wasn't even thinking that it would be the BIOS. But thanks a ton.
