HP Z2 Tower G9 Workstation Desktop PC (4Y0H8AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

Hello,
We are using a Z2G9 of the latest generation of processors i9-14900K.
Working with Revit and Artlanis for rendering.

The PC becomes extremely loud when it is under load, the processor fan makes the noise.
The result is program crashes.
After some testing, we turned off the turbo boost function in the BIOS and everything runs normally.

Does anyone have the same problem or can tell me what exactly this Turbo Boost function is?

Thanks

well first of all your Z2 model system is not a approved one for either program and you are experiencing the

"you get what you pay for" symptom when you install a non approved cpu model that places a greater thermal load than the systems cooling system was designed for

second spend 5 min using google with keywords "Intel turbo Boost 14900K" and you will have your answer
