Hey I figured out the answer to my own question! The Z2 G9 does support Resizable BAR (a/k/a "Re-size BAR"). It was introduced in a prior BIOS release "Version: 01.03.00 Rev.A" which "Adds Re-size Bar option for PCIe devices."
That means I don't need to return the Intel Arc A770 16GB. Of course, it's all an exercise in futility since I do not game anymore, but it's still nice to know that I could run BF4 on ultra everything 2560 x 1440 @ 360FPS if I wanted to. 🙂
