HP Z4 G4 Workstation

Ugh. Bought a brand new Fan  and Front Card Guide Kit (P/N 1XM33AA) from B&H Photo - an authorized HP dealer.

I looked at the HP online video on how to install this thing, but for the life of me I can't get it to fit. The NvMe drives (2) mounted to the chassis and connected to the motherboard seem to be in the way. Has anyone out there installed this fan kit to a Z4 with NvMe drives mounted? I tried to get some help from HP, as this workstation is still under active warranty, but they said that since I didn't buy the Fan kit from them, they won't help. TIA!

(Sound of palm smacking forehead) - I found a much better video in a language I do not understand, but that was the "trick". There is very little clearance for the NvMe drives - but just enough. Here's the link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DQXKgXuik6Y

The front fan kit is primarily designed for adding additional chassis cooling when higher end video cards are installed. I always add optional fan kits to my HP workstations regardless of configuration - cheap insurance for expensive electronics.

The video card in this machine is just what came with it - nothing fancy. The RAID array in this Z4 is running off a Microsemi card, and after the fan was put it, the RAID controller shows between 1 and 2 degrees C cooler running temperatures.
