The i7-7800X is compatible with your HP Z4 G4 Workstation: HP Z4 G4 Workstation Performance Results - UserBenchmark, but it does not have integrated graphics, you will need a separate graphics card: Intel Core i7-7800X Specs | TechPowerUp CPU Database.
Hope this was helpful.

there is no magical file that can change this models motherboards
as the boards ARE NOT THE SAME and use different chipsets
the board options are also slightly different,
the xeon based board has two m.2 slots onboard vs only one m.2 for the non xeon board, the lan ports are also different and the supported memory also differ

FYI: The HP Z4 G4 Workstation (all builds), as seen here with real-life User benchmarks, are all (as in: no exceptions) fitted with the same HP (SSID:) 81C5 motherboard: https://www.userbenchmark.com/System/HP-Z4-G4-Workstation/77048.
As shown, this motherboard supports both Intel Core and Intel Xeon processors, including but not limited to the: i9-10980XE, i9-10940X, i9-10920X, i9-10900X, i9-7900X, Xeon W-2265, Xeon W-2255, Xeon W-2245, Xeon W-2235, Xeon W-2145, etc. etc.
Unless I am missing something -which I grant you could be entirely possible, I am not sure how or why the 81C5 board would come in different flavors since all the aforementioned Intel Core & Intel Xeon processors are compatible with the same motherboard.

Very good: but would these motherboards both have the same SSID ("BaseBoard Product") designation? That would be a first in the HP Reservation.

i suspect the place where you are getting your information on this models configurations is supplying incorrect information
besides the hardware differences i previously mentioned there are more, such as number of USB ports and PCI-e slots
