I am trying to install a third 3.5 sata drive in my Z400. Is there a bracket or caddy so I can install one in the 5.25 bay? Thanks for any help you can offer.

As long as there are additional cable ports for the SATA and power, an adapter for the 5.25" bay is common. One like this: https://www.amazon.com/Kingwin-Internal-3-5-Inch-5-25-Inch-HDM-229/dp/B00A659K2I/ref=pd_lpo_147_lp_t...
That is the simplest adapter, as long as the drive bay is empty.

Yeah, a week late to the party but if you are not tied to using a 3.5", often called Large Form Factor (or LFF) Hard Disk Drives and a 2.5" (SFF) HDD could still meet your needs, consider using a HP carry handle to house the HDD as outlined in this (and its referenced) post.
Such a carry handle can be usefull for other reasons. Though the carry handles are more expensive than a couple of simple "U" brackets, they are much more robust and less likely to cause vibrations and noise as compared to those simple "U" bracket solutions.
