Microsoft Windows 11

Hi, My Z8 G4 Workstation has 2 CPU's. Both are Xeon 8273CL 2nd Gen. LGA3647 CPU"S. I have 16 memory sticks all 16GB or 8GB each. The Speeds are 2933MHz or 2666MHz. All are ECC RDIMMS. All are Official HP-SK Hynix Memory.

The problem I'm having is that all of my memory sticks work in any combination on the first CPU. None on  the second CPU in any combination, amount, or in any slots in any order. The Bios shows all the memory sticks on the first CPU are working. It also says that the second CPU memory sticks are inserted but are disabled. It reads this in each memory slot "SLOT1 16GB SK HYNIX - DISABLED" and the same for slots 1,3,5,8,10,12. When the Z8 G4 Boots I get a memory error message for each 2nd cpu memory stick. Memory initialization error code 17-1. Again it doesn't matter which memory stick I use or which slot or combination of slots I  use. I still get the same problem.

Please is there Anybody who can help Me with getting the memory to work?

Thank You ahead of Time!

on the z8 g4 each CPU has it's OWN MEMORY DIMMS with each cpu having dimm sockets above and below  for that cpu

and on a dual CPU setup CPU one's dimm order must be mirrored on  CPU two's dimm sockets

also the dimm's memory  size determines if it's installed first or last in the bank's load order as i recall on the z8 systems the larger capacity dimms are installed first

download the PDF file linked below, in it you will find the proper load order for single/dual cpu memory configs

starting on page 21
