Thanks for your work on this... it is a big concern for a bunch of us. May I request:

 

There is a feature built into HP BIOS called Replicated Setup. With a USB drive inserted you trigger that from within BIOS and your BIOS settings will be captured onto the USB as a .txt file. That then can be attached to a post here by you so others can review your settings and try to figure out what you did that worked. IIRC your serial number might be captured in that .txt file near the beginning so you can easily edit that out if you wish.

 

The original intent of Replicated Setup was to allow cloning of BIOS settings from one same type workstation to another but it also is helpful for documenting what worked.  Thanks!
