Hi All
Second attempt to get some help but from a different angle.
My Z800 was in hiibernate mode last night.
Sometimne this morning it just started Beeping 5 times with 5 Red LEDs .
So that's the memeory. Yes?
This Z800 never gets past the post.
But the Memory fans tick as the power comes on but that's it.
The memory and fan unit work fine in my other Z800s .
So they cannot be the the problem, leaving the Mainboard, yes?
Ive reset the BIOS by pressing the BIOS switch.
Ive hard booted it with no power and held the on button for 10 odd seconds.
But nothing changes, still 5 bleeps and 5 flashes of red light .
Zero on the screen also.
So the question is, is how do I start a Z800 without a memory fan?
... And what happened whilst it was in hibernate mode?
This is a critical machine and I need access to the descktop thats in a RAID.
Any help would be really apreciated as my income depends on it.

the z800 system will boot (and run) without the memory or chassis fans installed you will however get a press "F1" prompt at each boot up, and the system can overheat depending on how many ram modules are installed and thermal load in general
so running no fan(s) is not recommended for normal use
The Diagnostic LED blinks red 5 times and the system beeps 5 times (once per second), then a 2-second pause follows:
This indicates a pre-video memory error. (IE- system failure before the video display is activated)
To resolve the issue, complete the following steps:
1) Ensure that the memory modules are loaded correctly.
2) Reseat the memory modules.
3) Replace the memory modules one at a time to find the faulty module.
4) Replace the third-party modules with HP memory.
5) Replace the system board.
