-Just as a possible backup option: consider replacing your motherboard...

 

If this is your motherboard: HP 576202-001 Z800 Dual LGA 1366 Socket Workstation Motherboard, you can get a working one starting at $35 via eBay (assuming you live in the US, which I can't tell): HP 576202-001 Z800 Dual LGA 1366 Socket Workstation Motherboard | eBay.
