Product: Z840

Hi

 

Looking at the BIOS options for the Z840, I can see a "Smart Cover Sensor" option, which shows (on searching) as "Factory Option" and no after factory kit - however it also says "Standard on all systems"

 

It looks like the sensor is part G8X56AV - which I can see "for sale" in various places, but I cannot see:

a) Where this would connect on the Z840 motherboard

b) if the BIOS would recognise it, or is this a FeatureByte item?

 

Can anyone assist?
