Hello,

I am wondering whether my system has under performing ram.  Could anyone else z z840 run ram benchmark and show what RAM performance do they get?

I'm using "MemTest86 9.4 build 1000 Free" (https://www.memtest86.com/download.htm), but I'm open to other free benchmarking tools.

The above mentioned memtest86 show that ram speed is 8111MB/sec. Then I removed all ram, cleaned ram sockets with compressed air and speed increased to 8177MB/sec. Better but still far less 11231 MB/sec reported for my z800 (....however for z800 I use v4.3.7 version of MemTest86 thus maybe it differently calculates speed)

I should add that ram does not show any errors either on UEFI 1hr ram test (quick test) as well as on full cycle of memtest86.

This is 8x8GB ram, thus ram is seated in every second ram slot. Thus all black slots are occupied, all white slots are free. Ram used  : hynix hma81gr7mfr8n (as shown on photo)

Things cleared up a little bit.

I manged to get MemTest86 v4 to run on Z840.

It comes out that MemTest68 v4 and v9 DO differently calculate RAM speed.

The results of MemTest86 v4 on Z840 are more in line with results MemTest86 v4 on Z800 (12061MB/sec vs 11231MB/sec)

Still I'm curious what results others get on theirs Z840.
