Hi,
I have a HP Zbook Studio G3 purchased in 2017. I try to replace the original battery with a new one, however after the new battery is installed, the laptop cannot get started, it keeps beeping(three-long-two-short) for a while and the screen is black.
I have also tried to do hard reset but nothing helps.
I have to put back the original battery, and it works again.
The BIOS has been updated before. I wonder if the identity of the original battery has been saved in the BIOS program, so that it could prevent the new battery to be recognized.
I also tried to do a BIOS reset by pressing WIN+B keys, and it could not enter into BIOS reset interface.
Is there anything that I can do to make the new battery work with the laptop?
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
