No, you cannot upgrade your TPM.

Details:

• The EliteDesk 705 G1 series typically comes with TPM 1.2, soldered directly onto the motherboard.

• It uses an AMD-based chipset, and HP did not offer a TPM 2.0 upgrade path for this model.

• The TPM is not a removable module (unlike in some business-class Intel-based systems with a TPM header) and also cannot be upgraded using a software patch.

 

Result:

• No, you cannot upgrade the TPM from 1.2 to 2.0 on the HP EliteDesk 705 G1 SFF.
