Product: HP Z2 Small Form Factor G5 Workstation (9FW01AV)

i just erased my drive and can't get on the net. The device manager shows 9 Wan Miniport drivers that are functioning, shows no ethernet controller or drivers installed, and no compatible drivers. Hp support says to contact the vendor, the vendor says to contact HP support. i have a wifi network that does not show up, but most of my computers are connected by ethernet. Support says to access wifi, then switch to ethernet. My wifi was hacked, I replaced the router/modem, passwords, etc. I want to get to the internet through ethernet (I am done with wifi) so the HP assistant can determine what drivers I need to get on the net. I've spent several days on this when I should be doing other things. Please help.

an expert told me that fox comes with a VPN. my version of fox does not have a VPN. instead it refers me to windows  to set up a VPN that is compatible with fox.is this my only choice?
