i got a dc7700, with a Pentium d  and 4 gigs of ram, it was used at a police office when it came out, i do not know the serial number because all the tags and refurbished tag, also i cant use windows 10 because it would lag a lot and to old, what should i use, Linux version or a tiny 11. also has no hard drive, what SSD size should i use

normally it is 3.5“ but you can also use a 2.5” since with an adapter or screws you can fix it to the chassis.

thank you. one more thing, what version of Linux, or the tiny 10 or 11 should i use

I don't know which linux you should use, that's out of my control, it's up to you, windows 11 is not compatible with this PC, neither would windows 10 be compatible for that reason you should look for drivers on the internet that can work.
