We have purchased two Z4 G4 Workstations, since the first boot, both work stations are showing the error " 912 - Incorrect CPU cooler installed for this configuration"
Product Number : 5E0N0ES#ABV
CPU : Xeon W-2265 @ 3.5 GHz
Fan/Cooler Product Number : 900187-001 Rev a
I read in the hp forums that this error occurs after a CPU upgrade to a CPU that consumes more than 155 W. our CPUs TDP is 165 W, but we didn't upgrade or changed anything, it is as stock as it was shipped to us.
Please help and advise

I searched for 5E0N0ES#ABV without success but by searching for "5E0N0ES" HP via google I found a number of matches, with W-2223 as the processor (120W max TDP). My guess is that you did not buy directly from HP and instead got two Z4 G4 with an upgraded 165W max TDP processor installed by the seller.
The original heatsink/fan is smaller than needed. Read up on this issue and the HP fix HERE and HERE . I got one of those ModDIY adapters which are shipped from China... took a couple of weeks, A+ quality from them. The Z440 heatsink/fan that is used with that adapter has significantly higher cooling capacity than the stock one included for the lower wattage processors in the Z4 G4. The official HP kit that includes the same items (but a HP fan plug adapter instead) is quite a bit more expensive. It is the wiring of the fan plug end that lets the motherboard know it has the higher cooling capacity heatsink/fan attached which is why the adapter is also required (as I explain in the second post linked to above).
HP has a YouTube video on removing and replacing the heatsink/fan HERE . That does not show the conversion to the larger Z440 heatsink/fan (which you can find via an eBay search for Z440 heatsink or 749554-001). Note that the motherboard also may look for presence of a front case cooling fan (in a black plastic fan holder, 927568-001 or 1XM33AA) and even for a motherboard memory cooling solution (which basically is a "saddle" that fits over the processor and positions two small cooling fans over the front and rear memory banks). Part references for that saddle are 927570-001 or 927570-002 or 1XM34AA. My favorite thermal paste is specifically the Noctua NT-H1 (not the NT-H2).
So, you have some added work to do but this is fixable.

Thanks for your efforts and sharing your experience, if this is the case we should not go through the headache of searching for a replacement fan and replacing them by ourselves, this should be done by hp themselves as the both Workstations are brand new and under warranty that should not get void.

Zabitsu, agree if the two workstations were bought straight from HP. Mistakes can happen at the factory but fixing them should be HP's responsibility if that is the case. Please do get back to us here with a follow-up post as things clarify.

buying a "NEW" HP system from "some company" does not guarantee a HP warranty in order to have a valid HP warranty the system must be bought directly from HP (such as the HP website) or from a authorised HP reseller also the HP new and "recertified" warranties can differ in warranty length
non authorised sellers of HP products do not qualify for a factory HP warranty, any warranty from 3rd party sellers must be provided by the 3rd party seller not HP
different countries can/will have differing warranty laws so keep that in mind

Zabitsu,
Please find and post a picture of one official HP site that shows your 5E0N0ES#ABV (5E0N0ES) workstation being advertised by HP as coming with the "CPU : Xeon W-2265 @ 3.5 GHz" processor.
I think you got scammed by whomever sold you the two you currently have with missing parts. Some companies buy slow HP workstations used and soup them up with fast hot used processors and sell them for a big profit to unsuspecting customers. You'd think they'd also know what the motherboard would demand when it first sees that high wattage processor. Scam until proven otherwise, in my mind.
I can do a warranty check on a HP workstation serial number from HP motherboards I've bought used off eBay and it will report back the status. That serial number will often be present, left over in BIOS from the past. A warranty check does not mean the motherboard has a correct processor and all the other correct workstation parts in place. Mine usually come bare.
