Dear Community!

I would like to create a fresh recovery drive for our t420 thin client, but in the device list of ThinUpdate software, unfortunatelly there is no t420 item.

Last time I created the recovery drive with this software, at this time, I was able to find my model and the recovery drive was successfully created.

Could anyone advice, how to proceed?

Thank you in advance.

HP still has the drivers posted online for this module so i suspect that you might have a improper thin client OS application installed try the HP Device Manager application  sp153522.exe

Hello!

Thank you for your comment. Unfortunatelly you mentioned the t430 thin client which is a newer model, than ours.

And the HP Device manager is used for remote management of the devices and I did not found any option to download OS image.

sorry wrong link here's the t420 link for the restore images

you can only install  the HP OS image that your client was licensed for

Thank you. I managed to download the original version. Unfortunatelly this version displays, also the same list. As far I noticed the configuration files (just after starting the software) are downloaded directly from HP's server(s), this can be a reason, that this older version is also has no the t420 item.

Do you (or anybody else) have a direct download link for the operating system, maybe?
