I guess thats what I was expecting but I thought I was using an image that had all the drivers built in already. It works from the USB stick on all models, but once captured then fails apon redeplying.
Is there anywhere (documentation) or anyone (at HP) that can help with the process of making a cross platform image with HPDM.
It would be great know the best practice of how to inject drives and to be able to only have to maintain one image.
Im am very used to creating SOEimages with Microsoft products but not HPDM or Windows Embeded.
Can the Micrososft Deployment Toolkit be used to deploy these images?
Sorry for all the questions but I just cant find any information on this and I have been looking on and off for three years now and you have been the biggest help.

HPDM doesn't provide functionality of building a image, tt just simply do capture and deploy.
The factory image which include all the drivers are built by HP WES R&D, there should have person who can help you, but as far as I know there is no document to log the detail steps. I would suggest you raise an impact ticket to HP for help.
MDT cannot be used to deploy image provided by HP. When build the image, no matter it's a factory image or Thinupdate captured image, HP has done some customization in/after imaging process. I don't think MDT can identify and even proceed these customizations.
