Recently ive been given the task to setup a remote connection to my thin client from a server or desktop.
From what ive seen and read, i need HP Device manager to do all of this.
i want to manage and configure my thin client remotely.

the problem right now is, i have no idea where to start and what to do.
any guides or can anyone help me out?

HP Device Manager is one of the (free) ways to setup units remotely.
You can find the Software and more information with this link:
HPDM Admin Guide:
ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/hpdm/Documentation/AdminGuide/4.7/
Best Practice White Papers:
ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/hpdm/Documentation/WhitePapers/4.7/
For the installation it's suggested to install HPDM Version 4.7 and then the Service Pack 2:
ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/hpdm/Software/4.7/
My opinions are my own and do not express those of HP.
