your system due to it's small form factor size can only use low profile cards

the system also has a non standard power supply that is only 230 watts being a non standard supply there are no higher wattage 3rd party compatible power supplies

your current supply due to it's low wattage lacks a AUX "GPU" power connector this means that the pci-e slot is the only source of power for the card and the standard for pci-e power is 75 watts max, HOWEVER THIS LIMIT ASSUMES THE POWER SUPPLY CAN PROVIDE 75 WATTS............. all of the HP approved cards are 35 watts or lower for this system

however you may be able to use the rx550 (which is a 50 watt card) if the only pci-e card installed is the video card and the system only has one SSD and two sticks of ram you can also replace the current high power 95 watt processor with a "s" suffix model that is only slightly slower but consumes just 65 watts this wattage cpu savings allows a higher wattage video card while staying under the power supplies wattage limit

you can buy a used 2600s for about 40..00 on ebay
