Product: HP PRIME
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)
Hi
I wanted to solve a simple equation with natural logarithm: x^2-30=LN(x-2) . I used the command solve and fsolve. Unfortunately, both commands give only one solution [ 5,593]. And there is another solution [ 2 ]. But this CAS does not give. See it on the attached HP PRIME screenshots. Then I wanted to solve another and similar equation: x^3 - 30=LN(x-2). The situation is analogous. Solve and fsolve give only one solution [3,111].
The second element of equation [ 2 ] does not give. I believe that this is a problem to be solved for HP Team programmers.
