Hi Team,

 

We are struggeling with  a few issue's with a Poly GC8 , MTR and multiple E70 camera's in a Dual screen setup.

 

1) When in a call switching camera's (E70) the system freezes and after a while the GC8 gives a failure and must be rebooted.

2) After ending a call the dual screen setup is changed. Seems that the screen is duplicated instead dual screen.

3) When in a call sometimes video freezes. Reconnecting the screens seems the solution.

Hi Martien ... what software do the E70s run on (Latest is 1.8 / https://aitsc.de/blog/so-updaten-sie-ihre-poly-studio-e70/? ?

What software version does the GC8 run (https://aitsc.de/blog/poly-gc8-software-version-pruefen-und-manuell-updaten/)

Make sure to have everything on latest.

Do you run 4K screens ? if yes, please make sure that the PC just sents out 1080p, which is the max for the Teams app or use an EDID adapter.

I just updated the E70 at our office here to 1.8.

At customer we allready did an update

 

MTR version here is 0331

FW 1.4.1.000331

 

USB\VID_095D&PID_9160&REV_0331&MI_01

 

Weird thing is that when i start a meeting everything is going fine.

But when someone is joining the meeting the meeting hangs when swapping the camera.

Weird. Do you have an option to check with another camera as second cam if the problem persists, so that we might be able to nail the issue down ? Any Windows compatible camera should do the job for this.

I´d recommend to open a ticket with our support.

Hi Uwe,

 

Did a check with a logitech cam and a Poly USB Studio and it works fine.

When the E70 comes in it freezes the meeting.
