vbp registration issue in embedded gatekeeper mode.

Hi All,

I have  vbp 4555 e box and hdx 7000(5) end points,i configured vbp in embeded mode and endpoints configured in same campus bt different vlan.

Prolem occered:

1.when i am going to register endpoint to gatekeeper(vbp) its showing down gatekeeper.

bt it is showing as a client with alies no in vbp.

2.when i am doing same activities in same vlan gatekeeper showing successful resister with gatekeeper.

pls suggest to do some more confiuration in embedded mode ASAP.

 vbp --- 11.2 

hdx----- 3.1

just you need to define a root on VBP to get the status show at EP,

you have to configure a subnet over VBP in which subnet EP are having

also define the VLAN ID on VBP in which VLAN ID vbp is now having.

check your network access rules between vlans.

if i place a call between two or three endpoints in differenents vlan without gatekeper(VBP) registration,call connected successfully.

there is no external firewall and no port block between vlan.

can i need to vlan configuration in vbp if yes pls guide me.

Did you add all your lan subnets on Route page?

You need to put VLAN ID of subnet in which the EP's are having right a way if any
