I don't use a CD.

 

I put the contents of the DOS flash folder onto a USB flash drive. 

 

You have to format the flash drive with the FAT32 file system.

 

Plug the flash drive in a USB port and restart the PC.

 

Tap the F10 key at the beginning of the HP welcome screen to get into the BIOS.

 

Select the File menu>Flash System ROM command.

 

Then select the USB flash drive.

 

Now the PC should see the BIOS files on the flash drive.

 

Follow the on screen instuctions to update the BIOS.

Yes, that is correct.

 

You will have to read the instructions on that page to flash the BIOS>

 

You can use the Windows based flash.

 

But I recommend you use the F10 BIOS flash method.

por logica creo que primero se formatea y luego se le pone la carpeta Flash DOS en una unidad flash USB

 

pero lo que no entiendo es porque usted ha puesto la reves 

 

1ºusted dice poner la carpeta

 

despues usted dice formatear

 

creo que es al reves

¿importa o  ono importa que mi pendrive tenga algunos archivos o es necesario que mi pendrive solamente tenga unica y exclusivamente el driver y la carpeta?
