Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I purchased an HP EliteDesk 850 G4, Win 10 Pro, 64-bit  business laptop in July 2017.  It comes with HP Client Security.  Numerous times a day, I get the following popup in the lower right corner to the screen:  HP Client Security with the message "Install the Chrome  Extension to use password manager in Google Chrome bowser".   I clicked on the popup but get a privacy error warning stating the connection is unsafe and not to proceed.  I logged into client security which also gives the same error when I try to install the extension.  How do I stop the incessant message that I cannot udpate?  Can the message be disabled without affecting my security features?  Thanks.

hi

If you want to get rid of the pop-ups, a workaround is to disable the  HP Client Security add-on in Chrome. go to tools > extensions and turn off the add-on

cheers

I have the same issue. It is the most maddeningly annoying notificaiton...

I have tried to remove the extension but it does not appear in Chrome's extension list.  The notification is a reminder to install the extension.  How do I turn off the notification without installing the extension?
