HP EliteBook 840 G4
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

The HPIA always detects the driver "USB network adapter module for mobile broadband" as not up-to-date.

I cannot update the target version 10.0.17763.1 to the reference image version 14.1803.10.3 yet.

I assume that the reference image version is stored incorrectly in HPIA.

Can this be confirmed or corrected?

Or can I alternatively be told how to install the driver for HPIA to display it correctly?

Run HP Image Assistant one more time and do another Analyze of the system.  Once you have completed the Analysis, press CTRL - Shift - S.  This will present a dialog box to save the configuration of your system.  Save the configuration file.

Please contact HP Technical Support so theyt can open a case on this issue.

When you contact support the will want to gather some information concerning the issue (serial number, OS language and version, etc.).  Let them know that you have collected an HPIA configuration file that they can attach to your case.  This will provide valuabale information concerning your system.

Reference images are stored on the HP web site and updated when needed.  This is why HPIA needs access to the internet to do an Image Analysis of a system.
