Why do I get this error Intell@Serial IO the program has ended prematurely because this platform is not supported and I am using windows 10 64 bit.
HP Pavilion 15-au062nr(ENERGY STAR)

I recommend you follow the below steps and check if it helps.
- Press F10 during boot to enter BIOS Setup.
- Go to the Advanced > Devices > Onboard Devices menu.
- On the Legacy Device Configuration pane:
- Set Pins 13/14 to I2C0_SCL/I2C0_SDA.
- Set Pins 15/16 to I2C1_SCL/I2C1_SDA.
- Press F10 to save and exit BIOS Setup.
After enabling this feature in BIOS, you can install the Intel® Serial IO host controller driver.

Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Try updating the computer using these steps -
Step 1 Windows Updates -
1) In the search box, type and open Windows Updates.
2) Check for updates.
3) If the updates are available, click on install and restart the computer.
Step 2 HP Support Assistant Updates -
1) In the search box, type and open HP Support Assistant.
2) Check for updates.
3) If the updates are available, click on install and restart the computer.
Also, update the BIOS from this link.
