My new pc came with a trial copy of office 365. I don't want to use it as I have purchased a copy of Office home and student. Should I uninstall the office 365 from my PC?

@Danw311
Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

Our new HP laptop came with a trial version of Microsoft Office already installed On Windows 10,

  • In order to uninstall the Microsoft Office click the Start button and type control panel. Press Enter and then click Uninstall a program. Then select Office 365 and click Uninstall.

Once it's done you can install your purchased a copy of Office Home and Student software.

If you have any issues activating Office, download and install Reset MS Office AFO and AFOLB Settings – CPS (sp78285.exe), and then open any Office application to restart the activation process.

For more information about activating Office, see the Microsoft document Activate Office 365, Office 2016, or Office 2013

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
