Problem with a product key windows starter

Notebook HP 245
Microsoft Windows 7 (32-bit)

Hello: The situation is as follows, I have a notebook buy with windows 7 starter, the user at that minute decided to format the computer and delete the recovery partition, installing a cracked version of Windows 7 Professional. Later I received the equipment I managed to recover keys with a Windows application to recover product id, two appeared, the crackeada and the windows 7 starter version, that is what I registered. Then I did formatting the computer, installing windows 7 starter and placing the key of windows 7 that I managed to recover, at the time of activation the message appears that the password is a pirated key. I called Microsoft and they told me that I should contact Hp, since they could not do anything about it. Best regards

Hi:

This is a peer to peer forum.  I do not work for or represent HP.

I suggest you contact HP in the country you live in and see if you can purchase a set of W7 recovery disks for your notebook.

Have the serial number handy when you speak to a customer services rep.
