Product: SmartStream Designer
Operating System: macOS 10.14 Mojave

Normally HP sends out an email to current owners of SSD to let them know there is a new version coming and when to expect it but haven't heard anything and I haven't been able to find any information on wether HP is developing a new version or not. Does anyone have any info on this or a workaround to install SSD on inDesign 2019?

I received information from HP that a new version will be made available mid-November 2018. 

 

Also check out the new Adobe Illustrator plug-in, Smartstream D4D (Designer for Designers) which is available free to download now: http://hp.com/go/SmartStreamD4D

I have the same question as Currently holding off updating InDesign as Smartstream no longer works and use daily.

Thanks for the info!  I'm starting to receive many files in inDesign CC 2019 but I can't update yet. I hope they don't delay it or something.

Skärmavbild 2018-11-19 kl. 09.43.37.pngI have not upgraded to the latest Indesign CC 2019 but I have upgraded to the latest OS Mojave 10.14. I get acces denied when I try to install Smart Stream Designer for Indesign CC 2018. Is it because I have the latest Mac OS?

You might need to check the security settings in Mac OS preferences to allow for apps and installers to run. Go to System Preferences > Security & Privacy > General and click on "Allow Apps downloaded from App Store and identified developers"

Looks like SmartStream Designer 14 for Indesign CC2019 will be ready soon as new pricing has been announced. It is a free upgrade for anyone with a licence for Designer 12 and 13.

You should be able to download the updated version of the installer here when it becomes available:
