Hi

If you had an original HP installed Windows 10 and you install another copy of the same, IE: Home for Home it should  automagically re-validate.

So...

HP Recovery Media Creation.pngSELECT SECURE/LEGACY BOOT AS REQUIRED, & CHANGE THE BOOT SEQUENCE ALSO AS NEEDED.

You can try and order/buy a replacement recovery software, you can try and use ESC and F11 keys at boot up.

You can try to download and make a Recovery/Repair/Rebiuld/Re-Install as detailed in the picture above.

I suggest you get a list of the installed hardware if you can, and a link to HP's driver area, written down on paper.

Note the XCOPY option, and the boot re-sequenceing.

ISO images of various Microsoft OS's are available.

They can be be downloaded and 'burnt' to a DVD or USB.

They will NOT contain the appropriate HP software, like drivers etc.

If in doubt please ask.
